Here are four things to know:
1. Ms. Goss joined PAMC as a staff nurse in 1997.
2. Since then, she served in roles of increasing responsibility, including clinical manager of emergency services and director of the Providence Cancer Center.
3. She succeeds Richard Mandsager, MD, who is retiring and will leave Providence at the end of April.
4. In her new role, Ms. Goss will oversee the 401-bed hospital, which includes nearly 3,000 caregivers and 1,000 affiliated medical staff.
