3. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Kanwal holds a master of health services administration degree from Washington, D.C.-based George Washington University.
4. Since October 2016, he has also served as senior vice president of inpatient and retail pharmacy and oversees diabetes care services at Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica, a role he will continue, according to the Toledo Blade.
5. He succeeds Darrin Arquette, who is leaving to serve as executive operational lead for heart, vascular and neuroscience institutes at ProMedica, the report notes.
