Prince George’s Hospital Center COO John O’Brien to Retire

John O’Brien, president and COO of Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly, Md., has announced plans to retire, effective May 15.

Mr. O’Brien joined Dimensions Healthcare System, parent company of Prince George’s Hospital Center, in 2005.

Before joining DHS, Mr. O’Brien served as vice president, operations/partner at HPAS, a physician management company. He previously held executive leadership roles at hospitals including Harper Hospital in Detroit, Hamot Health Foundation in Erie, Penn., and University Health Network and Presbyterian-University Hospital in Pittsburgh.
