Prime names CFO for newly acquired Chicago hospital

Chicago-based Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital has named Chris Lewis as CFO, according to an April 28 LinkedIn post.

Mr. Lewis joins from UChicago Medicine, where he most recently served as director of finance operations, according to his profile.

The 361-bed hospital is part of Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare. It was one of eight facilities Prime acquired from St. Louis-based Ascension in a deal completed March 1.

“The past three years at UChicago Medicine have been formative, shaping me both professionally and personally,” Mr. Lewis said in his post.  “Leading transformational initiatives, collaborating with brilliant teams, and navigating complex challenges taught me the power of resilience, innovation, and strategic vision in advancing world-class patient care.”
