Prime Healthcare taps corporate VP of patient access

Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare has named Teri Meintel-Hurley corporate vice president of patient access, according to a post on her LinkedIn page. 

Ms. Meintel-Hurley most recently served as AVP of client delivery for Ensemble Health Partners, according to her LinkedIn profile. In that role she oversaw revenue cycle operations across an entire enterprise portfolio, including AR denial management and call center excellence. 

She previously served as senior director of client management at Change Healthcare and as financial alignment executive at Cerner. 

“Patient access is more than just the front door to care; it is where revenue integrity begins, the patient relationship is established, and operational excellence yields benefits throughout the entire revenue cycle. I am energized by the opportunity to lead this work on a larger scale,” Ms. Meintel-Hurley said in her post. 

Prime Healthcare operates 55 hospitals across 15 states.
