Prime Healthcare hires CEO for Lower Bucks Hospital: 3 things to know

Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services has hired Linda J. Grass as CEO of Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pa., according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Grass.

1. She is taking over as CEO of LBH from Peter Adamo, who has been regional CEO for Prime since it entered the Philadelphia market in 2012 with the purchase of Philadelphia-based Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Mr. Adamo will continue to serve as CEO of Roxborough Memorial and will also serve as CEO of Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, Pa., once Prime completes its acquisition of Mercy Suburban.

2. Of her new role, Ms. Grass stated, "I've watched Prime Healthcare Services become an exciting provider in this market and I'm eager to be part of the system's strategy to offer excellent destinations for service," according to the report.

3. Before joining Prime, Ms. Grass spent three decades with the Philadelphia-based Temple University Heath System, including 12 years as president and CEO of Jeanes Hospital, also in Philadelphia. She left the organization in March.
