Doug Kleam was appointed president of Dignity Health’s St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, Calif., and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo, effective Dec. 1, 2025.
Mr. Kleam has served as president of Dignity Health’s St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, Calif., since 2017.
During his tenure at St. Bernardine, he helped establish profitable joint ventures and expanded the Graduate Medical Education residency program, according to the health system. The hospital also reported gains in patient satisfaction, safety and care quality under his leadership.
In his new role, he will succeed Patrick Caster, who left the position Oct. 31.
Before joining Dignity Health, now part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, Mr. Kleam was COO of Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, Calif.
