President Dennis Popp of Washington's St. Elizabeth Hospital Announces Retirement Plans

Dennis Popp, president of St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, Wash., which is part of Franciscan Health System, has announced plans to retire sometime in the near future, according to an Enumclaw Courier-Herald news report.

Mr. Popp has not given a specific date for retirement to give Franciscan Health System executive time to find a permanent replacement. His executive healthcare experience dates back to 1985, when he began serving as chief administrator of Community Memorial Hospital, also in Enumclaw. The hospital was eventually renamed to Enumclaw Regional Hospital, which was replaced by the newly construct St. Elizabeth Hospital earlier this year.
