Presence Health appoints chief quality and medical officer: 3 things to know

Chicago-based Presence Health has appointed Sam Bagchi, MD, chief quality and medical officer.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Bagchi.

1. In his new role, Dr. Bagchi will drive the clinical and quality strategy and goals of Presence Health “by leading initiatives that advance clinical performance and practice standards,” according to a news release.

2. Dr. Bagchi joins Presence Health after most recently serving as senior vice president and CMO for Dallas-based Methodist Health System.

3. Dr. Bagchi earned a medical degree from Indiana University and completed the internal medicine residency program at Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
