Robin Wittenstein Named COO of Penn State Hershey Health System

Robin D. Wittenstein has been appointed the COO and director of Penn State Hershey (Pa.) Health System, effective Aug. 15, according to a health system news release.

Ms. Wittenstein has been the acting president and CEO of the University Hospital at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark since 2008. As PSHHS COO, Ms. Wittenstein will oversee the health system’s growing network of more than a dozen clinical and academic affiliate hospitals across central Pennsylvania, as well as the health system’s interests in Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute, Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital, Hershey Outpatient Surgical Center, Hershey Endoscopy Center and other collaborative, health-related ventures.
