1. Dr. Choudhury is currently vice president for professional services at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury.
2. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Vermont in Burlington.
3. He has also worked at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and Parker (Colo.) Adventist Hospital.
4. He is a fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing and has won the Emergency Nurses Associate Leadership Award in 2015 and 2017.
5. Dr. Choudhury succeeds Fred Kniffin, MD, who has served as interim president of the medical center since 2016. Dr. Kniffin plans to return to practicing emergency medicine at Porter’s emergency department.
