Piedmont hospital appoints Dr. Efe Efemini to CMO role

Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare named Efe Efemini, MD, as chief medical officer of its Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, Ga.

Previously, Dr. Efemini was the medical director of hospital medicine at Piedmont Atlanta. He is replacing Monica Hum, MD, who now serves as the CEO of Rockdale, according to a July 6 news release.
