Four things to know:
1. Dr. Peck is leaving to once again work at Navigant Consulting. He was previously Navigant’s managing director.
2. He became CEO of Piedmont Athens in March 2015.
3. During his tenure, the hospital’s quality performance improved, and it exceeded its cost-savings goals. The hospital is currently in the midst of a $171 million expansion and renovation project.
4. Dr. Peck will join Navigant March 1, but will remain as the hospital’s interim CEO through May 31.
