Pickens County Medical Center hires new CEO: 3 points

Pickens County Medical Center in Carrollton, Ala., named Jeanette Filpi CEO, according to a Pickens County Herald report.

Three points:

1. Ms. Filpi entered the healthcare arena as a physical therapist in acute care, rehabilitation and outpatient settings.

2. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.

3. She began serving as CEO at Pickens County Medical Center on March 4.
