In 2000, Mr. Fine was tapped for president and CEO of Banner Health, one of the nation’s largest secular, nonprofit healthcare organizations operating 28 hospitals in six states. The system employs about 50,000 people, records about $7 billion in annual revenue and is one of Arizona’s largest private employers. Mr. Fine has engaged in numerous community and national leadership organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Hospital Association, Health Management Academy and Greater Phoenix Leadership.
