Greensburg, Pa.-based Independence Health System has named Michael Fiorina, DO, as chief medical officer, effective in mid-June.
Dr. Fiorina replaces Carol Fox, MD, who is retiring, according to a June 11 system news release.
Dr. Fiorina joined the administrative team in 2021 and has since served as vice president of medical education and chief medical officer for the Butler and Clarion region.
