Pennsylvania hospital taps CEO

Michael Clark has been appointed CEO of Wilkes-Barre (Pa.) General Hospital after serving in the role on an interim basis since early 2025.

He brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including in strategic planning, service line development and financial performance, according to a July 22 hospital news release. 

Mr. Clark previously served as division president at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health.

Wilkes-Barre General is a 369-bed hospital.
