Penn Highlands Healthcare names new CFO

DuBois, Pa.-based Penn Highlands Healthcare has named Douglas Winner as CFO.

In his new role, Mr. Winner will administer, direct and monitor the health system’s financial operations. He will also promote clinical and administrative fiscal alignment and aid the system to find new opportunities, according to an Aug. 21 news release shared with Becker’s

Prior to his new role, Mr. Winner served as CFO of the Ascension Michigan Southeast region. He also served as CFO of Ascensions Michigan Metro West region, according to his LinkedIn page.

Penn Highlands Healthcare comprises nine hospitals, a home care agency, long-term care facilities, residential senior living communities, retail pharmacies and medical equipment companies. It has around 6,200 employees across over 150 locations in Pennsylvania, the release said.
