PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center CMO Dr. Alden Roberts to step down: 3 points

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Wash., announced its CMO Alden Roberts, MD, will depart, effective Oct. 31, according to a report by The Columbian.

Here are three points:

1. Dr. Roberts plans on pursuing consulting opportunities “in patient safety, medical staff leadership and governance development, and disaster management,” the report notes.

2. He joined medical center’s staff in 1990, before PeaceHealth took over the center.

3. PeaceHealth will soon begin the search for a new CMO for the hospital.
