Mr. Walstrom’s departure marks the fourth in a recent string of executive resignations from the system. Alan Yordy, president and CMO of PeaceHealth, had previously announced he is retiring in June. Most recently, Josiah Johnson, CEO and chief mission officer of the PeaceHealth Columbia Network, and Joanne Olsen, PeaceHealth Southwest chief administrative officer and CNO for PeaceHealth’s Columbia Network, announced they will leave the system April 24 and April 10, respectively.

“As we continue to evolve our operating model around population health, it’s not unexpected to have leadership changes,” Beth O’Brien, PeaceHealth COO, said in a statement.

Mr. Walstrom said in a statement he is leaving PeaceHealth “on a happy note.”

Peggy Allen, a member of PeaceHealth’s finance team working on the System Services Assessment, will serve as interim CFO. A search for a permanent CFO will begin immediately, according to the report.
