PeaceHealth appoints Torben Nielsen ZOOM+Care CEO: 4 points

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth named Torben Nielsen CEO of ZOOM+Care, a Portland, Ore.-based retail and digital healthcare provider the health system acquired at the end of last year, according to The Columbian.

Four points:

1. Zoom+Care includes 37 clinics in Oregon and Washington, offering urgent care, primary care, specialty care, mental health and telemedicine. Zoom+Care is operating under its own branding and leadership.

2. Mr. Nielsen took over from interim CEO Bill Frerichs May 28. Mr. Frerichs left the company.

3. Mr. Nielsen was senior vice president for innovation at PeaceHealth.

4. He has also served as vice president of innovation and strategic investments at Premera Blue Cross and co-founded HealthSparq, a digital health startup.
