Paul Scimeca promoted to COO of Glens Falls Hospital

Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital has promoted Paul Scimeca to COO, according to a report from The Saratogian.

Mr. Scimeca joined Glens Falls Hospital in 1989. During his tenure, he has served in numerous leadership positions, most recently as senior vice president for strategy and business development.

As COO, Mr. Scimeca will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including the emergency, oncology, cardiology and behavioral health services. He will also be responsible for clinical support areas, housekeeping, food services and other departments that directly impact the patient experience.

Mr. Scimeca is also an adjunct professor at the management schools at both The Sage Colleges in Troy and Albany, N.Y., and Union Graduate College in Schenectady, N.Y.
