Partners HealthCare in Massachusetts Names New CEO

Partners HealthCare System announced that Gary Gottlieb, MD, will take over as new CEO when James Mongan steps down at the end of 2009, according to a news release from Partners.

Dr. Gottlieb is the current president of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an affiliate of Partners HealthCare. Partners HealthCare is the largest hospital chain in Massachusetts.
