Mr. Heatherly most recently served as president and CEO of Knoxville, Tenn.-based Tennova Healthcare. He has also served as vice president of operations for hospitals in Tennessee and Pennsylvania at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, Tennova’s parent company. Prior to CHS, Mr. Heatherly served as the CEO of StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tenn.
Mr. Heatherly is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served as board chairman of Leadership Healthcare of the Nashville Healthcare Council.
Mr. Heatherly succeeds Rick Lassiter, who is leaving his position at Parkwest to take on the CEO role at a physician specialty group, headquartered in Virginia.
