Parkridge Health System CEO Darrell Moore will retire this year: 4 things to know

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Parkridge Health System President and CEO Darrell Moore is retiring, after serving at the helm of health system since 2006.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Moore will retire in December of this year.

2. During his tenure as CEO, Parkridge expanded to five facilities and received numerous quality accolades, including accreditation by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.

3. In his 40-year healthcare career, Mr. Moore has served in a number of leadership roles, including CEO of Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

4. Health system officials are conducting a national search for Mr. Moore’s successor.
