Paris Regional Medical Center names Scott Avery COO: 4 things to know

Paris (Texas) Regional Medical Center selected Scott Avery as its new COO, according to a Paris Extra report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Avery most recently served as the COO at Regional Health Command Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.

2. He also previously served as commander and CEO of Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, Ga.

3. Mr. Avery is a retired colonel with 29 years of U.S. Army service.

4. He completed four tours in Iraq, where he led healthcare teams providing care to wounded Army members.
