Previously, Mr. Tenreiro was executive vice president and COO of Baton Rouge (La.) General Health System. He succeeds Sister Margaret Wright, who retired earlier this year after leading the hospital for 35 years. She was the last nun to lead a hospital in the Chicagoland area.
