Palisades Medical Center taps Dr. Anthony Passannante as acting president: 4 things to know

Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, N.J., named Anthony Passannante Jr., MD, acting president, according to an NJBIZ report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Passannante most recently served as vice president of medical affairs and CMO of the medical center.

2. He also served in management positions at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.

3. Dr. Passannante is a trained cardiologist.

4. He succeeds Bruce Markowitz, who served as Palisades Medical Center president since 1993.
