Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus Health has named David Bittner senior vice president of enterprise development, according to an April 11 LinkedIn post from the health system. 

Hospitals and health systems are making changes in their leadership ranks based on organizational needs in today's healthcare environment. Some of the changes have involved adding inaugural roles to their C-suites. 

VillageMD — majority owned by Walgreens Boots Alliance — has selected Jim Murray as president and COO, effective April 1.

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente has tapped Edmund Chan as president of the Kaiser Foundation Plan and Hospitals Hawaii, effective April 28. He will succeed Greg Christian once he retires May 1.
