Stanford (Calif.) Hospital & Clinics announced today that its board of directors has appointed Amir Dan Rubin as president and CEO, effective Jan. 3, 2011, according to a hospital system news release.

St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, N.Y., has promoted senior vice president of operations Robert Ross to the position of executive vice president and COO, according to a Poughkeepsie Journal report.
