1. Doug Strong, CEO of University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers in Ann Arbor, Mich., has been reappointed for a second five-year term

2. Brinsley Lewis, CEO of Adventist GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights, Ill., will be leaving his post to take a job as president and CEO of University Community Hospital-Carrollwood in Tampa, Fla.

3. Eric Beyer has been chosen to lead as the next president and CEO of Tufts Medical Center in Boston, effective Oct. 1.

4. Alan Barnes has been named CFO and assistant administrator at South Peninsula Hospital in Homer, Alaska.

5. Norman G. Roth has been named the COO of Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital and senior vice president of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System, effective Sept. 1.

6. University General Health System, based in Houston, Texas, has named Donald W. Sapaugh president of the healthcare company as well as a member of its board of directors, effective June 28.

7. St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Colo., has named Carole Peet president and CEO, effective Sept. 19.

8. Grady Health System in Atlanta has named John Haupert president and CEO of Grady Memorial Hospital, pending final approval from the hospital board.

9. Methodist Health System has named John Phillips president of Methodist Mansfield (Texas) Medical Center.

10. St. David’s HealthCare announced today that Donald H. Wilkerson has been named CEO of St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas.

11. Paul DellaRocco, CEO of Franciscan Children’s Hospital in Boston, has been removed from his post by the hospital board for allegedly inappropriately billing the hospital for expenses

12. Jim Van Dornick, CEO of Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls, Wis., has announced his plans to retire in August after 39 years of service to the hospital.

13. Spiros Hatiras, CEO of Hoboken (N.J.) University Medical Center, has announced his resignation.
