State University of New York's Downstate Medical Center in New York City named Wayne J. Riley, MD, president, effective April 3, 2017.

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported in Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

Orangeburg, S.C.-based Regional Medical Center is replacing CEO Tom Dandridge, according to The Times and Democrat. Mr. Dandridge has served at the helm of the hospital since 1993.

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System selected Judy E. Tingley, DNP, RN, to serve as vice president and CEO of its new Heart and Lung Institute, according to the Cleveland Daily Banner.

Arlington Heights, Ill.-based Northwest Community Healthcare appointed Evelyn Pagán, RN, BSN, vice president of quality.

Napa, Calif.-based The Doctors Company tapped Bill Fleming to serve as COO. The Doctors Company is a physician-owned medical malpractice insurer.

Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., named Deborah Gac vice president of human resources.

Philadelphia-based Independence Health Group hired Gregory E. Deavens to serve as CFO, effective Jan. 30, 2017.

Laconia, N.H.-based LRGHealthcare has named Wayne Bennett CFO, effective Feb. 13.

Overland, Kan.-based Menorah Medical Center selected Jeff Taylor to serve as COO. Menorah Medical Center is a part of Kansas City, Mo.-based Hospital Corporation of America Midwest Health.
