OSF hospital taps North Carolina system CEO as president

Alec Grabowski has been appointed president of OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, Ill., effective April 1.

In his new role, Mr. Grabowski will oversee the hospital’s internal operations and support alignment with Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare’s overall strategy, according to an April 1 health system news release.

Mr. Grabowski brings 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role. He most recently served as network CEO of a three-hospital system in North Carolina, including Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville. The hospital was acquired by Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System on April 1.
