Peoria, Ill.-based OSF St. Francis Medical Center confirmed that its Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services, Jennifer Croland, DNP, RN, is no longer employed at the hospital, 25 News reported Sept. 10.
“We appreciate her contributions and wish her well,” a hospital spokesperson told Becker’s. “Deatra Howard, an experienced health care executive, will serve as interim chief nursing officer while the search for a permanent leader is underway. There is no disruption to patient care.”
Dr. Croland has worked at OSF in various roles for 28 years and served as CNO for almost 13 years. The reasons for her departure are unclear.
