OSF HealthCare names Carol Friesen northern region CEO: 3 things to know

Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare has tapped Carol Friesen as CEO of its northern region, according to The Pantagraph.

Three things to know:

1. Ms. Friesen will now oversee OSF HealthCare Center for Health-Streator (Ill.) and facilities in Ottawa, Ill., Mendota, Ill., Rockford Ill., and Escanaba, Mich.

2. She is former vice president of health system services with Bryan Health in Lincoln, Neb., and president and CEO of Crete Area Medical Center in Crete, Neb.

3. She has served as CFO of Boone County Health Center in Albion, Neb.
