Orlando (Fla.) Health has named Susan Toadvine chief human resources officer of its Midwest region.
The appointment comes as Orlando Health expands into Polk County, growing care access for the patients and career opportunities for healthcare professionals, Ms. Toadvine said in a May 25 LinkedIn post.
Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital is slated to open in summer 2026 and will include more than 300 inpatient beds, 69 emergency and observation room beds and 11 operating rooms.
“This transition reflects a personal passion of mine — working in healthcare and contributing to a culture that supports those who dedicate their lives to caring for others,” she said.
Ms. Toadvine most recently served as vice president of people and culture at Lakeland, Fla.-based Publix Employees Federal Credit Union. Before that, she was director of associate relations and talent acquisition at Publix Super Markets, according to her LinkedIn profile.
