Dustin Pierce, RN, has been appointed COO of Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Fla., effective June 1.
In the role, Mr. Pierce will provide executive oversight of hospital operations and support the development and execution of programs and services for patients, physicians and team members across south Lake and Sumter counties, according to a June 1 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Pierce most recently served as associate COO of Orlando (Fla.) Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. He also brings 25 years of progressive leadership experience from Orange County Fire Rescue.
Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is part of Orlando (Fla.) Health, a private nonprofit healthcare system with $14 billion of assets under management.
