Medford, Ore.-based Asante Health has named Tom Gessel president and CEO, effective Sept. 18.
Mr. Gessel has more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience, most recently serving as group president of Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health.
He succeeds Scott Kelly who retired in February. Roy Vinyard, Asante's previous president and CEO, has been serving in the interim role since October 2022.
Asante is a three-hospital system that provides medical care to 600,000 people throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.
