Oregon hospital taps COO

James Roundtree, BSN, RN, was appointed COO of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Ore., effective June 2. 

Mr. Roundtree will join RiverBend from Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark., where he was vice president of surgical and cardiovascular services, according to a May 16 hospital news release. 

He has also held roles as director of perioperative services at Harris Methodist Hospital – HEB in Bedford, Texas, service line manager at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla., and University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

RiverBend is part of PeaceHealth, a nonprofit Catholic health system based in Vancouver, Wash.
