Oklahoma’s McAlester Regional Health Center Ousts CEO

McAlester (Okla.) Regional Health Center’s hospital board has voted to terminate the contract of hospital administrator Shaun Beggs, effective immediately, according to a McAlester News report.

The hospital board has named Chuck Boss interim acting hospital administrator. The board is expected to make another appointment to the interim position in a few weeks.

Mr. Beggs’ two-year contract as hospital president and CEO went into effect on April 27, 2005 and had been set to automatically renew at the end of each term.

Mr. Beggs was paid $245,315 annually, according to the report.
