Brian Roland was appointed CEO of Elkview General Hospital in Hobart, Okla., according to a July 7 news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Roland brings three decades of healthcare experience to the new role, according to the release.
Most recently, he joined Miners Colfax Medical Center in Raton, N.M., as CEO in January, according to his LinkedIn page.
Mr. Roland also previously served as CEO and compliance officer at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge, Texas.
He comes to Elkview General months after SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City entered into a management agreement with Elkview Hospital.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Brian take the reins at Elkview General Hospital,” Trent Bourland, SSM Health Oklahoma regional vice president of rural health, said in the release. “With his vast experience, he will provide great leadership to his team, while continuing to improve the quality and range of services provided to the people in Hobart and the surrounding areas.”
SSM Health is based in St. Louis.
