OHSU taps new chief people officer

Angela Sklenka has been named executive vice president and chief people officer Portland-based Oregon Health & Science University, effective Sept. 15. 

In her new role, Ms. Sklenka will lead efforts at OHSU to make human resources more people-centric and effective. She will also work with executive leadership on culture improvement plans, according to a July 25 news release. 

Prior to her new role, Ms. Sklenka served as senior vice president, chief administrative officer and CHRO for the Tampa-based University of South Florida and USF Academic Health Medical College.
