Dr. Baldwin is currently the chief nursing executive at UCI Health in Irvine, Calif. When she joins OHSU, she will also serve as associate dean of clinical affairs at the organization’s school of nursing. Dr. Baldwin will report to OHSU Health’s CEO John Hunter, MD, according to a Jan. 5 news release.
At UCI Health, she oversaw nursing services, clinical service lines and preoperative services at the organization’s 459-bed hospital and 72 outpatient clinics. Dr. Baldwin is the former associate CNO of Los Angeles-based Keck Hospital of USC.
Dr. Baldwin succeeds Lori Ellingson, MSN, RN, as OHSU’s chief nursing executive. Ms. Ellingson has been serving as interim CNE since Dana Bjarnason, PhD, RN, retired after nearly nine years in the position.
