Ohio’s Akron General Health System Names Stephen M. Gary as CFO

Akron (Ohio) General Health System has appointed Stephen M. Gary as senior vice president and CFO, according to an Akron Beacon Journal report.

Most recently, Mr. Gary served as senior vice president and CFO for St. Vincent Health System in Erie, Penn.

He will join AGHS on Jan. 31. Alan Papa is set to take over as president of Akron General Medical Center that day as well.

Mr. Gary will replace Debbie Gorbach, who has served as interim CFO since Nov. 2007.
