Jim Whitaker, BSN, RN, senior adviser of operations at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton, Ohio, will take on a new role as vice president of operations at Wilson Health in Sidney, Ohio.
Mr. Whitaker has spent more than 23 years with Columbus-based OhioHealth, according to a March 12 health system news release. He began his career at Hardin Memorial as an emergency department nurse.
Before taking on his current role, he served as director of nursing at the hospital. He also previously served as director of operations for the OhioHealth transfer center.
OhioHealth Hardin Memorial is a critical access hospital.
Hospital leadership will begin a search for Mr. Whitaker’s replacement in the coming weeks, according to the release.
