Ohio system names former Corewell exec as physician chief

UToledo (Ohio) Health’s next chief physician executive will be Daniel Frattarelli, MD, according to a Feb. 3 news release.

Since 2008, Dr. Frattarelli has worked at Beaumont Health, which became Corewell Health in 2022. He most recently served as president of Beaumont Medical Group at Corewell Health, which has dual headquarters in Grand Rapids and Southfield, Mich.

At UToledo Health, Dr. Frattarelli will lead nearly 400 physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as contribute to systemwide strategy and operational initiatives. He assumes the role Feb. 9.
