Ohio health system CFO to retire after 26 years in role

Jeff Ehlers is retiring after 26 years as CFO of Marysville, Ohio-based Memorial Health, the system’s president and CEO, Chip Hubbs, said in a March 12 LinkedIn post.

Mr. Ehlers joined Memorial Health as controller in 1997 and became CFO in 1999, according to the system’s website. In the role, he oversaw accounting, admissions, hospital and professional billing, central scheduling, health information management, supply chain, risk, and reimbursement.

Mr. Hubbs said the system is beginning its search for its next CFO, who will “prioritize culture, teamwork, integrity, growth, and exceptional financial and operational performance.”
