Ochsner Health names hospital CEO

Kelly Haynie has been appointed CEO of Ochsner Medical Center-West Bank Campus in Gretna, La., effective June 1.

Mr. Haynie currently serves as vice president of operations at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton and brings a decade of healthcare leadership experience, according to a March 25 Ochsner Health news release.

He has also served as an assistant professor at Georgetown University’s School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and as adjunct faculty in Towson (Md.) University’s Department of Health Sciences.

Mr. Haynie will succeed Mary Deynoodt, who was named CEO of Ochsner Baptist-A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

New Orleans-based Ochsner Health operates 46 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers.
