Atlanta-based Grady Health System has named Christine Guillory chief legal officer, effective Jan. 12.
She succeeds Tim Jefferson, who retired at the end of 2025 after more than 25 years with Grady Health.
Ms. Guillory most recently served as associate general counsel at New Orleans-based Ochsner Health, where she oversaw strategic legal planning for 46 hospitals, 100 health centers and more than 40,000 employees.
In her new role, she will advise Grady Health’s executive leadership and board of directors. She will oversee the system’s legal, governance and compliance functions, including enterprise risk management, litigation oversight and regulatory affairs.
“Christine brings exceptional legal expertise, sound judgment and a strong record of advising leadership in complex, highly regulated environments,” Grady President and CEO John Haupert said in a Jan. 12 news release. “Her collaborative approach to governance, risk management and decision-making will be invaluable as Grady continues to advance its mission while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, accountability and public trust.”
