New York City-based NYU Langone Health has appointed Nadia Ovchinsky, MD, chair of the department of pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, also in New York City.
Dr. Ovchinsky will also serve as the Pat and John Rosenwald Professor of Pediatrics, according to an Aug. 10 news release from NYU Langone Health.
She joined NYU Langone in 2023 and most recently served as director of the division of pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology within the department of pediatrics, the release said.
Dr. Ovchinsky succeeds Catherine Manno, MD, who served as department chair for 17 years.
